Introducing Whimsy Stamps!

Sorry, I have realised that adding blog posts is not something I am good at remembering to do 😬 I'll try and be better... and well, there is at least one more now here and it's a good one (I know I am biased 🤣).

We are now very proud to be supplying Whimsy Stamps 🥳🥳 They work wonderfully well on their own or with Gina K stamps, so here's the instructions of how I have done just that.

ree

I stamped the moon first, using Soft stone ink, (this stamp is from the latest Gina K Designs kit "Autumn Delight", the individual stamp set "Harvest of happiness" will released soon). I then covered it is masking paper (cut out using master layouts 8), and inked the sky and grass. (Sky = Blue sky, Blue denim and In the navy. Grass = Grass green & Fresh asparagus).

Next I added some silver splatter, then removed the masking film*, and stamped the gravestones from the Halloween Bitty Border stamp using my Misti.

On seperate cardstock I stamped the mummy, gravestones and sentiments (from the Halloween Scream Stamp set). I embossed these with clear embossing powder. I fussy cut the mummy and gravestones, and used Master layouts 18 to cut out the sentiments.

I then coloured the Mummy/gravestones using Copic E11 & Promarker CG1 & CG4. (I know most people colour then cut but I always worry my die cutting will go wrong after I've coloured them in!)

I then popped it all together, raising up the moon and the mummy using foam tape. I added a few of the small bats to finish (a bold choice to do at this point I know 😬)

Note re masking film - I was out of masking magic so used an older mask product I had - and it ripped off the paper... so I re-stamped the moon, then cut it out using master layouts 8 glued it over the original moon, then prudently placed the mummy to cover the remaining imperfections on the sky under the moon!)

All products are listed in our shop for sale 😊
